About Rosemary, MindFlame’s Director

Welcome, I'm Rosemary Lowe, the Founder and Director of MindFlame Consulting.

I established MindFlame in order to help individuals and organisations to discover and evolve their potential, become more satisfied and fulfilled in life and work and to help them to find more purpose and meaning in all that they do.

MindFlame is the culmination of over thirty years of my personal and professional growth and experience, where I've studied with and been mentored by world-class experts and also gained wisdom and insight through overcoming numerous challenges in my own life and by engaging in many years of personal enquiry.

I've explored and quested to find out how to create health, peace and happiness from within and to learn how to live my best, inspired life and help others achieve this too.

Rosemary Lowe

I have now combined this depth and breadth of experience into my unique signature coaching and mentoring methodology - The LEAP Transformational FrameworkTM to help you breakthrough limits, fast-track your success and rapidly achieve your desired results and outcomes.

MindFlame brings together all that I have learnt and discovered, regularly bringing you new insights and perspectives and the latest research into wellbeing, happiness, careers, work, relationships, mindset and mind-body health, as well as lots of resources to help you with your own personal and professional growth and transformation.

★  What lights me up (my inner flame) is helping people to gain clarity about what they want, what's working well and what needs to improve. I blend my diverse background, knowledge and experience to enable people to develop insight and increase their self-awareness. They then feel empowered to adopt new perspectives and behaviours which can create lasting and transformative change. I also help people to build greater courage, capability and resilience in their life.

★  I’m naturally curious, very open-minded and enjoy exploring new perspectives and solutions and thinking ‘outside of the box’. I’m practical, focused and enjoy leading and developing growth in others and seeing the potential in individuals, relationships and teams. I combine intuition and creativity with logical reasoning, strategic vision and strong business acumen.

★  My big mission is to help people to be the best, truest version of themselves - helping them to be REAL and live their lives as courageously and authentically as possible. I'm also keen to put the focus back on to the 'being' part of being human!

★  I enjoy helping individuals, Teams and Businesses to gain a strong sense of their value and purpose, get clarity about the why behind what they do and help to facilitate growth and change in a way that feels expansive, enlivening and positive for all involved.

★  My greatest satisfaction comes from witnessing people make transformative shifts, helping them to feel better about themselves and inspiring action.

★  One of the key themes in my work is helping people to overcome self-judgement and learn to silence their negative internal dialogue and befriend their inner critic.  We work to transform your inner relationship to one where there is a stronger sense of self-worth, self-acceptance, self-trust, self-confidence, self-compassion and even self-celebration - which are all positive and healthy forms of selfies!

★  In my wellbeing coaching, I teach people how to feel fulfilled from within so that this provides a healthy and strong foundation for living. This means that we have that solid 'come from' to return to, no matter what is occurring in the external circumstances of our lives that we may not or may not have control over.

★  My work is trauma-informed and over the past 30 years I have trained in an extensive range of therapeutic techniques and healing modalities to understand the impacts of physical and emotional wounds and how to help the mind and body to heal and transcend the lasting effects that this can create.  I have been able to overcome various challenges in my own life and now feel privileged to help other people to find inner peace and mental and emotional equanimity, recover their 'whole' sense of self and feeling of being at 'home' within themselves and restore their personal power.

I've also studied and trained in strengths coaching, traditional psychology and positive psychology, eastern and western philosophy and studied behavioural science and the science and research underpinning happiness, resilience and wellbeing.

► Additionally, I've undertaken in-depth training into relationships and communication, including personality and attachment theory and the psychological and emotional impacts of impaired early childhood and parental/caregiver attachment that continues to create ongoing repercussions in life, work and relationships.

My specialism is facilitating personal and professional transformation. This includes career management, confidence and working with mindset and state of mind and helping people to improve their life, business and career at every level, as well as enhancing their relationships, communication and wellbeing.

► In order to learn how to truly flourish and thrive, I've trained as a practitioner in many mind-body techniques, including mindfulness, meditation and other therapeutic approaches. My work focuses on both the conscious and subconscious mind to enable clients to increase their self-awareness and explore what has shaped their patterns of thinking, emotional responses and default actions and behaviours. I also have a keen interest in neuroscience and mind/brain training and its impact on health, motivation, success and performance.

► This enhanced insight and awareness helps clients to gain clarity about why they've experienced problems, issues and challenges, or felt stuck and then clear up any 'faulty thinking' or unhelpful beliefs so that they will be able to move forwards and create more empowering and positive outcomes in their professional and personal lives and relationships.

► I've also carried out over three decades of in-depth exploration and extensive personal enquiry and practice into spirituality, consciousness and physical and emotional healing in order to learn how these can create more meaning and purpose in our lives and promote physical and emotional health and wellbeing.

Other Life Experience.....

Discovering & Exploring

► I thrive on discovery and I've travelled widely and lived and worked abroad, through which I've developed perspective and insight from other cultures. My early career included leading small group adventure and cultural tours in Egypt and India and hiking and cultural tours in Eastern and Western Europe.

Travel & Adventures

► Other adventures have included travelling through South East Asia and staying with remote and untouched Hill Tribes when I was 19 years old, hiring my own Sherpa at 25 to trek part of the Annapurna Range in Nepal, cycling in India and spending time with indigenous Indians and native Shaman in the Amazon Rainforests of Peru.

Wisdom & Perspective

► These life-enriching experiences have helped me to learn from other cultures and gain further wisdom and understanding of how we can create more peace, wellbeing and happiness in our lives.

This article 'Developing Resilience and Becoming My True Self' describes my personal journey, which has inspired my purpose and informs the WHY behind everything I do

The Rest....

► When I'm not working, learning and exploring, my passions and interests include travel and adventures, hiking and biking, getting creative and sampling tasty and interesting food. I like getting into nature, sitting in a great cafe people watching and enjoy forging deep friendships, having great conversations and parenting and enjoying life with my two teenage boys.

Top Values in Life and Business:   Freedom, Family, Spirit, Joy and Service
Top Strengths (VIA):  Perspective, Social Intelligence, Judgement, Honesty, Curiosity, Creativity
Top Talents (Gallup):  Connectedness, Input, Individualisation, Learner, Intellection
Sweet Spot (where my Talents and Strengths merge): Wisdom, Courage, Humanity, Strategic Thinking, Relationship Building and Transcendence.

If you are curious about these Strengths and Talent Results and want to know more, I look forward to working with you and helping you to discover these for yourself! *

* BIG DISCLAIMER! -  I think that tools and techniques and profiling can be a great guide to cultivating self-awareness and that's why I use them.  But please note I only use these as a 'guide' to help you find your talents and what makes you unique and helps you to shine - there is also a huge part of me that really hates labels and sticking myself or other people in a narrow and limiting 'box' - so I may also encourage you to free yourself from what you may 'think' yourself to be - to let go of labels, your personality and your carefully crafted identity so you can truly unleash your Genius, discover your true potential and start really living!

"Rosemary is an extremely competent professional, she coached me during a period of transition during my professional life and her insight about career options and how to go about updating CVs and presentation skills was invaluable. Her extensive experience in career development and coaching is supported by her knowledge of techniques to improve wellbeing. In that respect, Rosemary has a unique set of skills that allows her to provide well rounded support to her clients not only professionally but at a personal level. I highly recommend Rosemary and my career progression was very much the result of her support and training."

Patricia Holley, Manager of the Jean Goulding Institute for Data-Intensive Research, University of Bristol

“Rosemary is an incredibly skilled, warm and caring coach. Her ability to create a supportive space with which to explore and express whatever comes in sessions is phenomenal – she is absolutely a masterful coach and it has been such a pleasure to have her guide me in ways I would not have been able to otherwise access.

I am so glad and blessed to have met and been able to work with Rosemary as my coach – I know I have learned so much and tapped into areas that needed to be heard, and the transformation that has come from that is absolutely life-changing! Thank you so, so much Rosemary – for your time, your caring and supportive energy and for all you’ve done and guided me through!”

Christa Norris, Transformational Coach and Owner of Shape Our World Consulting

“I loved working with Rosemary. She has a natural ability to connect and build strong connections and made me feel at ease.  From the very beginning of the first session, I felt safe and understood. Rosemary has a wealth of life experience and is able to relate to what’s going on, and give feedback when needed. Her patience and curiosity allowed me to explore my beliefs and holdbacks, and then she gracefully led me to change them to more empowering ones. I can not recommend working with Rosemary enough!”

Joanna Fiminiska, NHS Operational Manager

“Rosemary works with you to uncover your purpose, map out a plan and walks with you while you take action. When I felt stuck, confused and needed clarity, I came away with insight and inspiration and my head was overflowing with ideas and possibilities and a better idea of the way forwards. She helped to point me in the right direction and leaves you feeling more enthusiastic, uplifted and inspired.”

Adam, IT Analyst

“Rosemary was absolutely fantastic with the level of detail of all lectures and constant use of anecdotes.  Thank you so much for this life-changing course!”
